Dance Lessons

Lesson 1

Swim the Song. Feel the Energy.

Forget complicated choreography. These dance lessons are all about helping you let go of fear, stop overthinking, and feel the sound wave instead. I created this method based on 4 simple principles that changed how I move—and they’ll change the way you feel on any dance floor:

1️⃣ Stay Loose – Let your body breathe. No tension, no pressure.
2️⃣ Don’t Move Your Feet – Stay grounded to mother earth. When your feet are still, you stay connected to the energy around you.
3️⃣ Flow with the Wave – Move your arms and upper body with the music. Sound is a wave—so swim it. Swim the song while attached to earth.
4️⃣ Don’t Think It. Feel It. – Dancing isn’t in your head—it’s in your body. Let it move naturally.

These lessons aren’t about perfection. They’re about showing up, feeling good, and owning your space with quiet confidence. Whether you’re at a wedding, a party, or just vibing in your kitchen, you’ll have a move that feels right.

This isn’t dance training—it’s positive energy training. Get started now!

Lesson 2-3

Build Your Moves. Boost Your Confidence.

Now that you’ve got one solid move under your belt, it’s time to level up. Lessons 2 and 3 are all about adding smooth, easy-to-learn motions that make dancing feel effortless—no matter where you are.

Whether you're hitting a club, heading to a party, or just vibing at home, these lessons will help you move with more flow, more rhythm, and more confidence. You’ll build on what you already know and start developing a personal style that’s fun, free, and fully you. After all it’s free style.

There’s no pressure here—just positive energy, simple moves, and the freedom to enjoy yourself.
Keep it loose. Feel the beat. Swim the Song.

Mission Statement

My name is Gerry, a/k/a CafeCampusMan, and I’ve set out on a mission to bring the joy of dance to as many people as possible. I believe that dancing is one of the most freeing and joyful things a human being can do. But I also know that for many people, any idea of dancing in public—or even in private—can be intimidating.

That’s why I’ve decided to do something about it. With a limited budget but a heart full of passion, I’ve created 3 dance lessons that are designed to be simple, fun, and accessible to everyone. These lessons are for you if you’ve ever felt nervous about dancing, unsure of what to do, or just need a little confidence boost to get moving.

But I didn’t stop there. I want to show you that dancing doesn’t have to be perfect to be enjoyable. So, I’m sharing unedited shorts of myself dancing as examples of how easy and fun these moves can be. No fancy production, no filters—just me, the music, and the joy of moving to the beat. You’ll see the real me, mistakes and all, because I want you to know that it’s okay to be imperfect. In fact, it’s part of the fun!

Back in high school I knew how it felt to be hesitant, to worry about what others might think, or to feel like you don’t know what you’re doing. But I now know the incredible feeling of letting go, feeling the music, and just moving in waves. And that’s what I want for you. Your life is your own personal experience so why not find & experience joy.

Each of these lessons is designed to give you at least one solid dance move that you can feel confident about. Whether you’re at a wedding, a party, or just dancing in your living room, these moves will help you let go of your fears and enjoy the moment. The goal isn’t to become a professional dancer—it’s to have fun, feel good, and connect with the music.

Dancing is for everyone, no matter your age, background, or experience level. It’s about feeling the rhythm, expressing yourself, and having a great time. So whether you’re a complete beginner or just looking to brush up on your skills, these lessons will help you.

I believe that the world needs more dance, more joy, and more moments of pure, unfiltered fun. That’s why I’m so passionate about sharing these lessons with you. I want to see more people getting up, moving their bodies, and enjoying the music without worrying about getting everything “right.” Because in dance, there is no right or wrong—there’s only the joy in creating positive excitement.

So, if you’ve ever felt unsure about dancing, I encourage you to give these lessons a try. You don’t need any special equipment, a fancy studio, or even a lot of space. Heck, you can even practice these dance moves sitting on a chair or driving in your car. All you need is an open mind, a willingness to have fun, & a free arm. I promise you’ll find that dancing is easier and more enjoyable than you ever imagined.

Join me on this journey, and let’s make the world a happier place, a dance move at a time.
